The Pinole Youth Program offers different classes and activities throughout the year for children 3-17 years old and at the Youth Center, St. Joseph Elementary School, Fernandez Park, Pinole Valley Tennis courts,  and several other facilities and parks.

To register for any of the classes and activities, please go to the Online Registration and it will take you to the registration site.  Next, click on PROGRAMS and then click on one of these choices -Enrichment Classes or Sports Go to the REGISTRATION INFO tab for online registration instructions.  Go to the FAQ tab to get some answers about registration.

ENRICHMENT CLASSES offered during Academic School Year
Find a class here to help your child develop his/her interests/passions, new talents, and challenge them in areas of academic, sports, and social development.

Parent and Me Cooking class:
For children ages 3-5
 "Young chefs" won't need a passport to "visit" countries & their cuisine.  Lots of eating & tasting.  Parents support their children ages 3-5 to learn about varieties of food & cookware.  Recipes are age-appropriate & fun too.

Cooking Round the World class:
For youth ages 7-12 years old
This class gives girls and boys ages 7-12 year old, an awesome insight into the foods and ingredients from around the world, by cooking and eating! They will learn techniques, recipes, and ingredients while cooking 1-2 authentic dishes from the country of the week! Completely hands-on, creative, fun, and YUMMY

Young Rembrandts Art Class
For ages: 4-6
Class Description: The Young Rembrandts FUNdamental program is specifically designed with the needs of our youngest learners in mind.  We use subjects they’re familiar with such as animals and toys, as well as their favorite learning tools - pictures, stories, touching, and doing - to enhance social and conflict resolution skills while improving listening, fine-motor skills, and time-on-task.  Give your little one the information they’re hungry for and be amazed by what they’ll create!

Young Rembrandts Art Class
For ages:6-12
Class Description: Experience the colorful magic of FALL in the Young Rembrandts classroom. Kick off the season with an interesting Iguana, a video game favorite Pixel Block Character and the geometrical world of architecture as we draw the Notre Dame Cathedral. All these and more await you in our FUN and informative session. Come draw with us!

YOGA AND MINDFULNESS
For ages 5-12 years old
A positive physical and mental learning experience for all individuals. Increase strength, flexibility, and balance while also developing confidence, focus, and empowerment through yoga poses and meditation practices led by a certified yoga teacher.

 SPORTS
TENNIS LESSONS for youth ages 6-15 years old
This high-energy program emphasizes the fundamentals of tennis.  Light conditioning and fun game are taught in a positive and safe environment.  Participants must bring their own racquet, sun protection/sunscreen, and plenty of water
 

LEADERS IN TRAINING (LIT)
The LIT Program is for teens entering 10th through 12 grades and to help them gain community service hours, job, and leadership skills.
