PURSUANT TO THE HEALTH ORDER HO-COVID19-09 ISSUED BY THE CONTRA COSTA HEALTH OFFICER ON APRIL 29, 2020:

Effective May 4, 2020, the City of Pinole Development Services Department is open on an appointment basis onlyStaff has contacted applicants who  have approved application awaiting permit issuance to schedule appointments.  Permit issuance for previously approved applications will occur Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Please be sure you arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment. 

For applicants who would like to submit applications or would like to meet with staff to obtain more information for future projects, appointments will be made and will occur Monday through Thursday between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Please phone (510) 724-8912 to schedule an appointment.  If staff is unable to take your call, please do leave a message indicating you would like an appointment to submit or need information and staff will return the call.

All appointments will be made in 30-minute increments commencing at 8:00 a.m.  Being on time will ensure staff is able to assist you, otherwise your appointment may need to be rescheduled.  Please be aware, face coverings are required as well as proper social distancing requirements – 6’ separation. Verify that you have everything required per our COVID19 Plan Review Submittal Checklist ready and with you at the time of your appointment.

An in person appointment is not required should Building Permit Applications be submitted electronically (electronic submittals are encouraged) and can be made by emailing all of the required documentation via email (there is a 25 megabyte maximum or provide a link to allow for downloading of the submittal) to building2@ci.pinole.ca.us.  Verify that you have everything required per our COVID19 Plan Review Submittal Checklist ready at the time of your appointment. Include payment either by check or by Credit Card Authorization Form
