Welcome to the Youth Recreation Department home page!

The mission of the Youth Recreation Department is to provide a safe environment and programs for children that extend the learning opportunities outside of school time that help children develop interests, passions, new talents, and leadership skills. We offer programs such as Enrichment Classes, Camps, Sports, and Leaders in Training.

To register for youth sports and enrichment classes, click on online registration. Once at the portal, go to PROGRAMS, YOUTH, choose ENRICHMENT CLASSES, SPORTS, or CAMPS, that you would like to sign up for. If you have any additional questions, please email [email protected] or call 510-724-9004

Keep the youth active and sign them up for our Spring Basketball classes, 2024 Summer Camp and LIT Program. Summer camp registration will be available on April 1st. We will continue to add more summer camp programs until May 18th. Please keep checking online registration portal for a list of the summer camps that we offer.
For our Leaders in Training Program (LIT), check under under the classes and activities tab for more information. LIT application is available by clicking on 2024 LIT Application.
