The City of Pinole is located in the western portion of Contra Costa County on the shores of the San Pablo Bay.  The Pinole Library offers many on-going programs for adults, teens and children. Pinole is currently the only branch to contain

a premier Filipino Collection in both English and Tagalog. The collection comprises material on the culture, history, and folklore of the Philippines.
