Pinole's Fire

August 6, 2020

We are well into the 2020 fire season, as illustrated by several significant fire incidents in and around Pinole.
Your Pinole Fire Department is hard at work keeping the community safe from fire danger,
and we will be conducting some additional weed abatement efforts throughout the City’s open space in the weeks to come.
By now, all residents’ weeds should be removed to within 3” off the ground and brush trimmed to provide a safety buffer of at least thirty (30) feet around any structure. For most properties within the City, this means clearing the entire parcel. Dead trees and fallen limbs also apply. Tree limbs must be trimmed to no lower than 6' from the ground.
Thank you for your efforts in making Pinole a fire-safe community!
