ANNOUNCEMENT
The City of Pinole Recreation Department is temporarily closed, all in person programs,
events and facility rentals have been cancelled during this time and
facilities remain closed. We are currently offering virtual
programming, please visit our online registration page for more information. Below is a list of all the parks and amenities that are open and amenities that remain closed.
RECENT UPDATES
12/14/2020
Restrooms will be reopened
in our parks between the hours of 8am to 4pm daily. The restrooms will
be cleaned once per day, in compliance with CDC guidelines. In order to
reduce the spread of COVID-19, we ask that citizens who use the
restrooms clean/wipe down the area (sink facets, door handles, etc.) you
touched.

Updated State guidance allows outdoor playgrounds and outdoor fitness
equipment to re-open with social distancing and face coverings.

Fernandez Park Gazebo
The gazebo is available for rental for limited use and restrictions. Groups interested in reserving the gazebo should email youth@ci.pinole.ca.us or call 510-724-9004 to complete a reservation.
Athletic Fields and Tennis Courts
Athletic fields and tennis courts
are available for adult and youth sports groups and members of the same
household only. Athletic fields and tennis courts are available on a
first come, first serve basis, groups with a completed reservation have
first and sole priority of use of the reserved space. Groups interested
in reserving the fields, should email ksantoyo@ci.pinole.ca.us or call 510-724-9800 to complete a reservation. Groups interested in reserving the tennis courts, should email youth@ci.pinole.ca.us or call 510-724-9004 to complete a reservation. All groups must follow the guidelines set by the State. In addition all youth groups must also follow the youth sports guidelines set by the State and Contra Costa County Health Services Department to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
