RESERVATIONS

FERNANDEZ PARK - Specific areas of the park may be reserved, however use of non-reserved areas such as the basketball courts and playground equipment may impact reserved areas.

Fernandez Park Reservation fees are as follows:

Barbecue area with pit & one pole outlet
Resident: $100 per day
Non-Resident: $125 per day

Gazebo
Resident: $250 per day
Non-Resident: $300 per day
Electricity: $30

Jumper Fee
Resident: $50 per jumper, per day
Non-Resident: $75 per jumper, per day

There is also a $50.00 refundable holding fee (cash only) when a restroom key is requested with a reservation.  This fee is refunded upon return of the key to City Hall second floor service desk within three business days following the event during regular business hours. They key may be picked up the day before your reservation.

For weekend reservations, the key may be picked up at the City Hall second floor service desk the Friday before your reservation between 8:00am and 1:00pm only. Keys may be returned after hours to the night deposit drop slot located at the main front entrance to City Hall near the glass display case. Cash deposit may be picked up at the City Hall second floor service desk during regular business hours.

The posting board for your Reserved Sheet is located next to the barbecue pit and next to the gazebo. The Reserved Sheet is completed by city staff and is provided to you at the time your application is approved.

PINOLE VALLEY PARK PICNIC GROVE- Picnic facilities can be reserved for special events. Pinole Valley Park Picnic Grove fees are as follows:

Resident: $50 per day
Non-Resident: $75 per day

The Picnic Grove has four picnic areas with various amenities, including wheelchair accessibility, room for an inflatable jumper and water fountains.

There is also a $50.00 refundable holding fee (cash only) when a restroom key is requested with a reservation.  This fee is refunded upon return of the key to City Hall second floor service.

PINOLE SWIM CENTER- Lap swimming pool facility and center are available for rental. Facilities include main pool, training, and wading pool. There is also a snackbar. Click here for more information about the Swim Center.

ALEX CLARK ROOM - The Alex Clark Room is located in the Public Safety Building at 880 Tennent Avenue and is available for non-profit organizations only.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
  • Parks are closed from dusk to dawn.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on City park grounds and this law will be enforced. Personal BBQ Pits are prohibited. Skateboarding is not allowed on City park grounds. Vehicles should not be driven in the park or on the baseball field.
  • You and members of your party are responsible for following all Park Rules. Read them carefully and make sure everyone in your party adheres by them.
  • Jumper-type play equipment is allowed in Fernandez Park and Pinole Valley Grove Park, but only if you provide proof of insurance at least 1 week prior to rental date. More information on Jumper Requirements. Due to insurance requirements, jumper rentals must be from a City-approved company.
  • All refuse must be placed in trash receptacles after each event. It is necessary to leave the park clean and returned to its original state.
