Children's Theatre Workshop
An introductory workshop for children ages 3 through 8. Introduce children to the wonders of live theatre! Acting, singing, stage movement, combat, theatre games, creative drama, improvisation and other performance skills are featured in this exciting basic workshop. It's just a lot of fun! This workshop may be repeated. No experience required. Develop poise and self-confidence while learning about the performing arts. Workshop will culminate in a public performance. Same curriculum in both sessions. Children may enroll in both sessions if they wish.
SESSION ONE: Meets Tuesday afternoons 3:30-5:30pm in the Community Playhouse. Fall and Spring sessions available.
SESSION TWO: Meets Wednesday afternoons 3:30-5:30pm in the Community Playhouse. Fall and Spring sessions available.
Ten sessions: $175 (or 3 payments of $60). Some scholarships available.
For High School age through age 24
Youth Acting Company
In both the Fall and Spring, the Youth Acting Company presents a full-scale Broadway musical. The company rehearses Monday through Thursdays from 7:00-10:00pm.
