The Pinole Sports & Fitness Center is dedicated to enhancing the wellness, fitness and quality of life for individuals and families in Pinole and the surrounding communities. We offer a full package of fitness, sports and recreational activities designed to meet your fitness and recreational goals. Our focus is to make quality health and fitness accessible and affordable to everyone. Our instructors are certified and all our rates are extremely reasonable.
We offer a host of classes each week featuring Zumba®, yoga, hip hop dance, cardio kick boxing, body sculpting, fitness boot camp, and youth sports. The classes are for all fitness levels and modes of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. The classes are drop in. Pick a time that fits your schedule and come when you can.
Saturdays are “Family Fitness Days.” Parents can take a fitness class for $6 and have their kids participate in one of our youth sports and fitness classes at a discounted $3 fee.
Drop in fee for all classes (except yoga) are $6 for Pinole residents and $7 for non-residents. Youth Fees (Under 18) are $3.
For your convenience, punch cards for 10 prepaid sessions are also available at $60 for Pinole residents and $70 for non-residents.
YOUTH SPORTS
Tiny Tots Sports (ages 5 & under)
Saturday 10:00am – 11:00am
This is a 1 hour per week program that is designed to promote the social and physical development of your child through cooperation, movement and skill building. Parents can drop off their children and/or watch their child participate in the drills and exercises. Parental participation is highly encouraged! This class is only $3 if a parent is participating in a fitness class at the same time.
Fit Kids
A Sports & Fitness class for kids ages 6-10
Saturday 11:00am – 12:00pm
Keep your kids happy, engaged and active in this multiple sports and activity class. The hour long class is non-threatening and designed to develop a love for staying active. The first half of class will be used to teach your child the skill basics of various sports. The remainder of the class will be used to play an organized game on the specific sport of the day. The emphasis will be fun and enjoying movement. This class is only $3 if a parent is participating in a fitness class at the same time.
ADULT CLASSES
Body Sculpting

Body Sculpting is the one-stop class designed to build strength and tone every muscle from head to toe using minimal equipment. The class incorporates a strength training workout combining flexibility and cardio conditioning. Body Sculpting shapes your body without building muscular bulk or size. Whether you are looking to increase your weight loss goals or just trying to get fit, this class is sure to boost your metabolism and make you feel great! The class is designed for all levels, Men and Women are welcome. Students will use their own body weight combined with a light set of free weights to tone every muscle in their body. Throughout the class correct form/stance will taught to ensure maximum results.

Fitness Boot Camp

Our fitness boot camp is designed to inspire, encourage and challenge you to reach your health and fitness goals. In addition to helping you strengthen, tone, and increase your cardio fitness, our boot camp workouts are designed to build your confidence and boost your well-being - no matter what your age or fitness level.
This fun-filled sixty minute exercise class focuses on increasing your cardiovascular and muscular strength, balance and flexibility, and overall health and well-being. Participants perform a variety of exercises ranging from low-impact aerobics, strength/resistance training with bands, yoga/pilates poses, stretching/relaxation, and much, much more.
Hip Hop Dance
Tuesday and Thursday 7:30pm-8:30pm

Instructor: Jade Lastimosa
Learn to express yourself through music and dance, using the dynamic dance style of hip hop. The class will increase your stamina and strength as you bust a move to the coolest beats and break a sweat. You will have the chance to improve your ability to learn choreography and apply the moves to any song choice. This class will help you to develop and create your own style, while keeping things light and fun. All levels are encouraged to join.
Hatha Yoga
Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm – 7:30pm

“It’s never too late to start Yoga!” This class provides a solid foundation for a lifelong Yoga practice. Discover what works for you in this ancient healing system taught for physical and emotional health and healing. We use breathing practice; (Pranayma) basic and advanced postures; (Asanas) relaxation and meditation techniques; (Dhyana and dharana.) Class progresses along with the abilities of those attending. Cardio Kick Boxing

Cardio Kickboxing is high intensity workout routine mimicking kicks and punches and moves from kickboxing and martial arts. A fast paced kickboxing workout is a great way to get in shape and stay fit. When you participate in faced paced kickboxing workout routines, you tone your muscles, lose weight and burn fat at an incredible rate. Our cardio kick boxing workouts are fun and one of the best workouts you can do!
Zumba

Zumba® is one of our most popular classes. It fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat with some Latin flavor. This is a beginner class and all ages are welcome. It’s easy to adapt to your fitness level if you are trying to get fit and are new to Zumba. Flat soled gym shoes should be worn, not running shoes. Come and drop in every Saturday for this five-a-side indoor soccer game where it is played to touchlines, all players may enter the penalty area and are free to play the ball over head height. Open to men and women 15 years and older. Collaboration with City of San Pablo Recreation.
