You may have noticed that over the past month that we have made improvements to the City of Pinole website. The website update was completed this week and these changes will give you the opportunity to take advantage of some new features such as receiving to email notifications when web pages you are interested in have been updated or when a crime has been reported in Pinole.
These interactive enhancements selected from suggestions by both city employees and local residents have been implemented at an affordable cost, and will improve your experience when visiting the City of Pinole’s website.
Recent enhancements include:
- The ability to subscribe to email notifications when a web page has been updated
- The ability to subscribe to email notifications when crime stats have been updated
- Enhancements to the Mayor’s and Councilmembers’ sections (includes collapsible information about committees on which they serve)
- Changing the Current News section to a rolling list
- Changing the department names to rectangular buttons
- Changing the font style and enlarging the font size
- Creating links to multiple map types (Google, MSN, etc), with directions to various Pinole office buildings
- Providing the ability to show different calendar of events views (list, weekly, monthly formats)
- Centralizing the location of all forms (http://www.ci.pinole.ca.us/admin/forms.html)
