Pinole's First Time Homebuyer (FTHB) Program offers up to $100,000 of down payment assistance to qualified borrowers. The following information is desiged to help you start down your path to homeownership:
- Program Brochure - Read the program brochure for eligibility requirements and program guidelines.
- Homebuyers Flowchart to Success - Learn more about the steps involved in obtaining a downpayment assistance loan.
- Loan Application - Complete the program application. The application form is also available in Spanish.
- Participate in homebuyer training - Every borrower must attend
homebuyer training. You may receive training from:
- HUD-certified training facilities. (The facility closest to Pinole is the Community Housing Development Corporation of North Richmond.)
The Community Housing Development Corporation of North Richmond (CHDC) manages the City's FTHB program. Periodic Program Orientations are designed to provide an introduction to the First Time Homebuyers Program. Visit CHDC's website to find out about upcoming Orientation dates.
