New Affordable Housing Under Construction on Buena Vista

The project, referred to as the “Heritage Park Cottages”, includes three new custom homes, each with quaint design elements and Old Town Pinole/victorian character, distinctive floor plans and lot sizes ranging from 3,440 to 3,810:

- 3 BR/2 BA home: 1,237 SF
- 2 BR/2 BA home: 1,017 SF
- 2 BR/1 BA home: 1,156 SF

Construction began in early December and is anticipated to be complete in Summer 2010. Marketing is anticipated to begin in late Spring/early Summer. The homes will be sold as workforce housing to households that are moderate- or lower income (refer to the “Maximum Annual Gross Household Income in 2009” chart above, which will be updated in Spring 2010). The exact pricing levels will be considered by the Economic Development and Housing Advisory Committee (EDHAC) and decided by the Agency Board in Spring/Summer 2010.

The Heritage Park lot is currently undeveloped, except for the Faria House, which sits on the San Pablo Avenue parcel frontage. The three new homes will front on Buena Vista, and a public trail and orchard will connect San Pablo Avenue and Buena Vista.

When the pricing is determined and realtor is selected, this webpage will be updated.
