The finance department is responsible for providing support services to all departments in the city and for financial reporting to other government agencies. The finance department provides a variety of services including budget development, financial analysis, bond debt administration, revenue billing and collection, accounts receiveable, accounts payable, cash flow managment, payroll processing, employee benefit accounting, record keeping and reporting. These duties are accomplished by using generally accepted accounting practices and procedures. As always, the finance department employees are dedicated in providing efficient and prompt service.

If you are a utility supplier, per Ordinance 3.26 the City of Pinole has imposed an 8% Utility User Tax on electricity, gas and telephone services that is to be collected by the service supplier and paid to the city. You may download this form to remit to the Finance Department.
